Gonzaga Prep Locks Down Shadle, Takes GSL

by Transition Hoops Report

Thursday night was a very good Greater Spokane League game between Gonzaga Prep and host Shadle Park. Gonzaga Prep got the win to claim the GSL crown.

Anton Watson (6'6 SF 2019) was the most impressive player overall, though he didn't score a lot. His length and willingness to do pretty much anything stood out. He was involved in nearly every play, went to the boards and, though raw with his skill set, has good instincts for how to make plays.

Devin Culp (6'4 SF 2018) is another prospect worth keeping an eye on. He showed a variety of abilities and a lot of potential.

Other GPrepers worth noting are Kea Vargas (6'0 SG 2017), who showed a very good looking outside shot off the catch, and Logan Adams (6'3 SG 2016), who had a nice second half and made some really tough finishes on the drive.

For Shadle Park, Andreas Brown (6'4 SG 2017) was hitting pull up 3s off the dribble to get his team going early. Jakobe Ford (6'4 PF 2017) showed off athleticism and huge bounce while Tanner Groves (6'8 C 2017) played strong and knocked down some outside shots.
