Rocky Mountain Moves Past Centennial
by Transition Hoops Report
A very athletic and talented Rocky Mountain team got a big Southern Idaho Conference (SIC) road win at Centennial. Rocky Mountain was led by BYU signee Kolby Lee (6’9 C 2017) and Kobe Terashima (6’1 PG 2017).
Lee is big and strong with great hands and feet. He is a big time rebounder and dominated the paint on both ends. Terashima is an elite passer with a great feel. He got his team open looks and also got a lot of deflections and steals defensively leading to easy baskets for his team. Both prospects are winners that will be very successful at the next level.
Centennial was led by Delveion Jackson (6’5 SF 2017) and Brooks King (6’3 SG 2017). Jackson is at his best when he catches the ball on the move and can get to the basket where he can use his athleticism and elite length. King is a great shooter that knows how to move without the ball to get open looks. When he gets a catch in rhythm he is going to knock it down. Jackson and King can be a great combo and are intriguing prospects at the next level.
