East Idaho, Wyoming Players in Shelley (ID)

From Shelley, Idaho, Memorial Day featured some of the best players from Eastern Idaho and Wyoming at the Shelley Showcase.

Class of 2015

Cole Critchfield  (5'11 PG Star Valley HS, WY) - was very aggressive all showcase long. Critchfield is tough and can scored it from 3.  He is also really good in transition.

Class of 2016

Mason Baker (5'11 PG Skyline HS, ID) - for the 2nd week in a row Baker consistently made the right plays.  He is really smart and when he is aggressive he can create space for himself and his teammates.


Connor Burkhart (6'6 PF Firth HS, ID) - when Burkhart made aggressive post ups and cuts to the basket he was tough to stop.

Brock Ehlers (6'4 SG Evanston HS, WY) - showed a lot of versatility on offense and a high basketball IQ.  Ehlers can hit the 3, mid range jumper, or finish at the rim.  He is a tough player that competes.

Brayden West (6'2 SG Highland HS, ID) - the long wing did a great job of scoring on the perimeter.   West is a great 3 point shooter and it sets up his nice mid range game. He is also an excellent rebounding guard.

Class of 2017

Sawyer Storms (6'4 SF Idaho Falls HS, ID) - when Storms was engaged he showed flashes of greatness.  He can finish through contact in the paint and is a special athlete.  

Class of 2018

Chase Critchfield  (6'0 SG Star Valley HS, WY) - was really active and athletic.  He is skilled and can knock down the 3 ball.


Derrek Marlowe (6'0 SG Hillcrest HS, ID) - showed good perimeter skills.  Marlowe can get by defenders and finish through contact.

Jack Thompson (6'2 PF Shelley HS, ID) - played with a huge motor.  Thompson makes game winning plays on both ends.  He is involved in every play.
