40 point outbursts and one prospect made his decision for next year

The regular season is starting to wind down but a long season hasn't affected the scoring ability of several players. We are still seeing several 30+ and 40+ point outbursts.

Skyview’s Kendal Manuel scored 19 points in a win over West who was led by Jared Samuelson’s 26 points. Manuel recently announced that he will attend a prep school (Hillcrest) in Arizona next year. 

Great Falls’ Lucas Vining scored 24 points and Brendan Howard and Matt Wyman added 18 points in a win over Havre.


Bozeman’s Adam Huse scored 23 points in a win over Butte.

Hardin’s Oliver Wallace scored 26 points in a win over Shepherd.

Corvallis’s Jace Gilder scored 23 points in a win over Stevensville.


Lake Oswego’s Jazz Johnson scored 26 points and Zach Parker added 19 in a win over Tigard who was led by Joel Johnson’s 17 points. Jazz Johnson also scored 24 points and Zach Parker added 22 in a win over Canby who was led by Jace Cates 22 points.

Tualatin’s Luke Osborn scored 25 points in a win over Canby who was led by Devon Fortier’s 31 points.

David Douglas’s Charles Jones scored 29 points in a win over Clackamas who was led by Markus Golder’s 27 points.

Wilson’s Ben Lensch scored 22 points in a win over Roosevelt who was led by Nate Bradford’s 27 points.

Wilsonville’s Zach Reichle scored 20 points in a win over Churchill who was led by Hank Forrest’s 17 points.

Reynold’s Cody Starr scored 24 points in a win over Oregon City who was led by Austin Dewitz’s 19 points.

Beaverton’s Nolan Bertain scored scored 26 points in a win over Alaho who was led by Steven Boswell’s 26 points.

Southridge’s Ben Borja scored 25 points in a win over Century.

Jefferson’s Kadeem Strickland scored 30 points in a win over Roosevelt.

Northern Utah

Bountiful’s Zac Seljaas scored 29 points and Jeff Pollard added 19 points in a win over Kearns. Pollard also scored 41 points and had 7 assists in a win over Judge Memorial.

Box Elder’s Jarom Mecham scored 24 points on eight 3 pointers in a win over Ogden.

Davis’s Jesse Wade scored 30 points in a win over Fremont and 29 points in a win over Northridge who was led by Jrue Perkins 34 points.

Layton’s Jarriesse Blackmon scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a win over Weber.

Syracuse’s Tyler Hale scored 26 points in a win over Weber who was led by Grant Ellison’s 31 points.


Kelly Walsh’s Ethan Applegate scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a win over Riverton who was led by Brandon Fullerton’s 27 points and 11 rebounds.

East’s Zach Mccord averaged 23 points per game in a couple wins last weekend.

Rawlins’ Jalen Krening scored 26 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had 6 assists in a win over Buffalo who was led by Hoyt Nichols’ 38 points.

Wheatland’s Kendrick Jackson scored 21 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and had 8 assists in a win over Douglas.


Steven Beo continued to show his scoring abilities this past week. He scored 28 points to lead Richland past Southridge and then scored 45 points in a Richland win over Kennewick. That is the third time this season he has scored over 40.

Logan Adams scored 27 points, including 5 3-pointers and 10 for 10 from the free throw line as Gonzaga Prep beat Shadle Park.

Dominick Oliveri scored 23 points and grabbed 13 boards in a Lewis and Clark win over Mead.

Tre'von Allen scored 27 points for Clarkston, including the game winning 3-pointer over Pullman.


Match Burnham scored 29 points with 9 rebounds to lead Liberty past Davenport.

Tyler Axtell scored 23 points in a Riverside win over Chewelah.

Stanwood beat Arlington led by Karsten Chaplik with 27 points. He has scored 20 or more points in 4 of his last 5 games.

Jimmy Ritchie scored 12 points with 20 rebounds in a Pennisula win over Auburn Riverside.

Woodinville got a win over Skyline behind 22 points and 15 rebounds from Tony Miller. He also scored 34 points with 20 rebounds in a win over Eastlake. That puts him over 1,000 points in his career. He's averaging 23.4 ppg this season.

Quin Barnard scored 34 in an O'Dea win over Nathan Hale, his second straight 30+ point performance. He's averaging just under 20 ppg this season.

Barnard's teammate, Peter Jones, scored 28 points to get a win over Chief Sealth.

Alphonso Anderson with another double-double, this time with 23 points and 10 boards in a win over West Seattle. Nate Pryor scored 20 in the loss. Pryor also scored 33 in a loss to Seattle Prep, who got 30 points from Aaron Nettles.

Inglemoor got a win over Newport thanks to Sage Drollinger's 31 points. They then dropped a close one to Bothell despite 28 points from William Luckett.

Ty Gibson scored 26 points to go along with 11 rebounds to lead Issaquah past Newport. Trevon Ary-Turner added 17 points and 6 assists.

Cam Haslam scored 26 to lead Roosevelt past Lakeside. Isiah Brown scored 30 in the loss. That is Brown's 8th game of 30 or more points, including a 44 point outburst in December. He is averaging 27.6 ppg this season.


Lakeland's Tyrel Derrick scored 29 points on 6 of 7 3-pointers in a win over Lake City. He then scored 11 points with 10 assists in a win over Moscow.

JD Schutt scored 21 points to lead Nampa past Eagle. He also scored 24 in a losing effort against Timberline.

Evan Henning scored 24 points with 12 rebounds in a Boise OT win over Mountain View. Cameron Howard scored 33 points in the loss.

Meridian's Axel Mpoyo scored 23 points to go with 11 rebounds in a Meridian win over Vallivue.

Rylan Bergersen scored 31 points for Borah as they knocked off Centennial.

Rocky Mountain got a win over Capital behind 20 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists from Logan Skurdal. Capital's Derrick White scored 24 points with 8 assists.

Cody Carter scored 30 points to lead Wood River past Jerome.

In a 2OT win over Preston, Century's Malek Harwell scored 35 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out 7 assists and also had 4 steals. Preston's Austin Smellie scored 30 in the loss.

Skyline's Mason Baker and Jai Jai Ely combined for 43 points to upset Highland. Highland's Connor Harding scored 21 points and had 12 rebounds in the loss.
