It was a busy week with plenty of action covering the region. Numerous prospects put on prime time performances for their respective teams, notching big victories in the process. It is still early in the season, but some familiar names are already grabbing the headlines and posting some impressive stat lines. It seems that 30 points is the new mark to beat.

Montana

Darby’s Zach McCrossin notched a triple-double, 11 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists to beat Lincoln.

Bigfork’s Joseph Potkonjak led all players with 24 points as his team defeated Anaconda. Potkonjak’s teammate Johnathan Landon scored 27 points in a win over Hamilton.

Anaconda’s Braxton Hill dropped 26 points (22 points by the end of the third quarter) in a win over Columbia Falls.

Great Falls’ Brendan Howard finished with 32 points to help his team beat Helena Capital. Howard also scored 29 points in a win over Flathead.

Arlee’s Tyler Tanner and Phillip Malatare both had double-doubles in their win over Plains. Tanner finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, five steals, and four assists while Malatare had 10 points and 10 rebounds, seven steals and six assists.

Big Timber’s Brent Finn hit a game-high 31 points in a win over Missoula Loyola.

Livingston’s Ladan Ricketts scored 32 points in his team’s loss to Laurel.

St. Ignatius’ Isaac Neumann dropped 26 points to help lift his club past Stillwater Christian.

Polson’s Mathew Rensvold enjoyed a 27 point game, but wasn’t enough in his team’s loss to Dillon.

Two Eagle River’s Julian Cut Finger led his team to their first win on the season behind a 28 point effort over Hot Springs.

Big Sky’s Alex Simmons dropped in 25 points while teammate Jake Tabish added 24 points in their win against Stevensville.

Utah

Layton’s Dallin Watts scored 25 points and added 7 rebounds in a loss to Mountain Crest.

Layton Christian’s Mark Burton had 31 points in a win over Roy.

Skyview’s Jake Hendricks scored 24 points and dished out 4 assists in a win over Davis.

Syracuse’s Kalvin Mudrow had himself a game against Skyline (ID). Mudrow had 10 points, 22 rebounds and 5 assists. It was Mudrow’s second consecutive double-double and third of the season.

Cole Huish had a double-double (20 points, 10 rebounds) for Viewmont in a win over Riverton. Riverton’s Joey Andrews had one himself going for 17 points and 10 rebounds in a the loss.

Mountain Crest’s Jaxon Brenchley scored 26 points in a close loss to Davis.

Juan Diego’s Maliik Fagan-Foster achieved a double-double in his team’s loss to Herriman. Fagan-Foster finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Wyoming

Mountain View’s Alex Housekeeper scored 30 points against Wyoming Indian.

Gillette’s Lane Tucker ended up with 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds for the double-double in their loss to Bismarck Century.

Lander Valley’s Jayson Simpson had 26 points, 6 rebounds, and three assists, but it wasn’t enough in their overtime loss to Big Piney.

Lovell’s Nic Haskell finished with a double-double 21 points, 14 rebounds in a win over Rocky Mountain.

Rawlins’ Jace Allard ended with 26 points and six assists for the win over Powell.

Oregon

Beaverton’s Hunter Sweet finished with a double-double including 22 points, 12 rebounds to knock off Hillsboro.

Forest Grove’s Taylor Jensen went for 30 points in a win over West Salem.

West Linn’s Payton Pritchard scored 33 points in his team’s win over Wilsonville.

Hermiston’s Chance Flores had 26 points as his team took down Hillsboro. Hillsboro’s RJ Nelson fell just one rebound shy of a double-double in the loss with 18 points, 9 rebounds.

Central Christian’s Bryson Eells finished with 25 points to beat Trinity Lutheran.

South Salem’s Khalid Thomas scored 25 points in a win against Sprague.

In a one-point loss to Tigard, Clackamas’ Elijah Gonzales scored 26 points. The junior guard recently received an offer from Portland State

Jefferson’s Geno West went for 33 points in a win over Lakeridge.

Jesuit’s Malcolm Porter impressed again with a 32 point effort over Central Catholic. Porter scored 19 of Jesuit’s 25 points in the fourth quarter.

Washington

Curtis’ Aushanti Potts-Woods scored 26 points to help get the win over Spanaway Lake. Potts-Woods also scored 24 points to defeat Puyallup early this week.

Peninsula’s JaQuori McLaughlin dropped 33 points for the win against Sumner. McLaughlin followed up that performance by going for 21 points including four 3-pointers in a win at Foss. On Tuesday, McLaughlin had 29 points to help get the win against Auburn.

Clover Park’s Semaj Booker tallied 25 points in his team’s close loss to White River.

Washington’s Timm Watson had 24 points in a win over Orting.

Sahil Basra registered 28 points in Lake Washington’s win over Sammamish.

Cascade’s Drew Magaoay went for 27 points to go along with teammate Trevon Blackmon’s 21 points to defeat Snohomish.

Everett’s Chris Bell had 27 points in a narrow loss to Lynnwood.

Auburn Mountainview’s Tristan Miguel notched 25 points to defeat Auburn Riverside. Miguel went for 21 points in a win over Kentwood as well. He recently signed with Western Oregon University.

Miguel’s teammate Ryan Lacey scored 29 points in a win over Bonney Lake earlier this week.

Woodinville’s Tony Miller scored 26 points in his team’s win over Bothell. Bothell’s Cameron Tyson finished with 24 in the loss.

Franklin’s Deshawn Kelly added 25 points to defeat Ballard. Ballard’s Nick Conway had 23 points in the loss.

Lakeside’s Isiah Brown scored 27 points in a loss to Cleveland. Despite his team’s defeat, Brown went for an impressive 34 points against Rainier Beach.

In Beach’s win over Lakeside, Sam Cunliffe scored 23 points. Prior to that, Cunliffe went for 33 points to help his team eclipse the centennial mark in a win over Nathan Hale. Then on Tuesday, he went over the 30-point mark again, scoring 32 points en route to a 104 point effort from his team over Chief Sealth.

O’Dea’s Quin Barnard knocked in 25 points to defeat Roosevelt.

Kentwood’s Darius Lubom had 25 points a win over Kent Meridian.

Wilson’s David Jenkins Jr. scored 27 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a win over Timberline. Jenkins Jr. also dropped 34 points in a win over Mount Tahoma.

Bellarmine Prep’s Malachi Flynn went for 25 points in a win over Stadium. Flynn is averaging 31.7 points per game this season so far.

Federal Way’s Jalen McDaniels had a double-double 22 points and eleven rebounds to defeat Decatur.

Gig Harbor’s Michael Toglia had 27 points in a loss to Timberline.

Richland seniors Steven Beo and Landon Radliff combined for 62 points in a win over Walla Walla. Beo finished with 32 points, while Radliff contributed 30 points to go with 14 rebounds of his own.

Kennewick’s Kafaya Bugal tallied a double-double 20 points and 12 rebounds to knock off Eastmont. Eastmont was led by Brandon Porter with 28 points.

Mabton’s Roy Zuvala scored 28 points in a win over River View. River View’s Baley Westberg led the Panthers in their loss with 23 points and 12 rebounds.

Tumwater’s Weston VandenHazel tallied a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Capital.

Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls)’s Blayne Baerwald scored 30 points in a win over Chewelah.

Medical Lake’s Jaelon Stith finished had a couple double-doubles. He scored 19 points and 15 rebounds in a win over Freeman and also helped his team to a win over Chewelah with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague’s Wyatt Roettger ended up with a double-double 23 points, 10 rebounds in a win over St. George’s.

Liberty’s (Spangle) Chase Burnham led his team with 26 points in a win over Colfax, while Colfax received a valiant effort out of Danny Robinson with 29 points.

Selkirk’s Cole Dawson had an impressive outing with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks to defeat Northport.

Yelm’s Christian David had 28 points and 11 rebounds for an impressive double-double, while teammate Chad Davis finished with a double-double 16 points, 10 rebounds in a win over Bremerton.

Liberty’s (Issaquah) Noble Cooper scored a game-high 27 points despite the loss to Spanaway Lake.

Lummi Nation’s Trazil Lane exploded for 42 points to lift his team past Mount Rainier Lutheran.

Wilbur-Creston’s Jacob Clark had seven 3-pointers and finished with 25 points in a win over Kettle Falls. Teammate Dorian Jaeger enjoyed a double-double with 11 steals and 10 assists following a 27 point effort in a loss to Reardan earlier in the week.

Selkirk’s Jacob Couch finished with a double-double 18 points and 10 rebounds while also providing seven steals in a win over Curlew.

Bainbridge’s Brendan Burke finished with 34 points, but wasn’t enough as his team lost to O’Dea in a close one.

Bellevue’s Sharif Khan had 27 points to help his team defeat Sammamish.

Eastside Catholic’s Brock Mackenzie scored 26 points in a win over Roosevelt, while Jonathan Lang had 36 points in the loss.

Kennedy Catholic’s Emilio Mancol dropped 27 points in a close win over Kent Meridian.

Despite taking the loss, Newport’s Cole Ruud-Johnson had 26 points on 8-for-10 shooting against Skyline.

River Ridge’s LaBrandon Price scored 25 points in a win over White River.

Chiawana’s Chandler Hansen had a game-high 34 points in his team’s win over Eastmont.

River View’s Mario Jaramillo outdueled Dayton’s Ben Kleck for the win. Jaramillo finished with 26 points and Kleck had 25 points.

Liberty Christian’s Chris Kelly poured in 27 points for the win over Kennewick.

Riverside Christian’s Michael Catton had 27 points in a win over Bickleton.

Idaho

Caldwell’s George Tarlas tallied a double-double with 12 points to go along with 12 rebounds in a win over Emmett.

Rocky Mountain’s Blaire Moore finished with a double-double 13 points, 11 rebounds, in his team’s win over Capital.

Fruitland’s Tyler Eiguren had a double-double in a narrow loss to Baker (OR), with 17 points and 14 rebounds.

Minico’s Josh Pilling scored 29 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in a win over Skyview.

Coeur d’Alene’s Joey Naccarato dropped 27 points to take down St. Maries.

Highland’s Mason Baker was just shy of a double-double finishing with 24 points and nine rebounds in a win over Twin Falls.

Raft River’s Wacey Holtman scored 31 points in a close loss to Dietrich.

Lighthouse Christian’s Ty Giardina finished with a game-high 26 points in a win over Hansen. Teammate Byrce Kostelecky had a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Kostelecky also had 17 points in a win over Camas County.

Christian Heritage’s Jacob Rossey poured in 32 points to defeat Christian Center.

Teton’s Justin Wade led all scorers with 28 points in a win over Firth.

Watersprings’ Drew Weathermon went off for 36 points in a win at Leadore.

Ambrose’s Travis Yenor capped off a win over Nyssa with 31 points.

North Idaho Christian’s Garrett White had a nice double-double going for 23 points and 12 rebounds to defeat Upper Columbia.

Lighthouse Christian’s Josh Fadness notched a double-double with 17 points and 10 assists in their win over Camas County.

Richfield’s Hayden Wayment and Justin Wood combined for 60 points in their team’s win over Mackey. Wayment had 31 points and Wood added 29 points.

Firth’s Connor Burkhart padded his stat line with a double-double and then some for their win over Teton. Burkhart had 10 points, 14 rebounds, 4 blocks and two assists.

Leadore’s Logan Ramsey capped off a win scoring 35 of his team’s 66 points in a win over Lima (MT).
