Rocky Mountain

Rocky Mountain had a very balanced attack. Kolby Lee (6’8 C 2017) was a force inside. He was 6 inches taller than any Borah defender and scored off some nice interior passes from teammates.

Jacob Erickson (6’1 SG 2017) knocked down four 3 pointers and is a very confident shooter.

Treighton Shepherd (5’10 PG 2015) did a nice job running the point. He uses an effective crossover and a good burst of speed to get separation off the dribble.

Logan Skurdal (6’3 SG 2015) used his feel to set up his teammates for easy buckets and collected several rebounds out of his range.

deandre-jones-treighton-shepherdBorah has two standout guards that allow them to compete against anyone. DeAndre Jones (5’9 PG 2016) makes Borah go. He set the tone for everything they did. Jones is elite at setting up teammates because he can get separation off the dribble using screens or with a burst of speed and his feel for the game is next level. He has range beyond the 3 point line and can shoot off the dribble or catch.

Rylan Bergersen (6’3 SG 2016) showed deep range and a very quick release. He has a scorer’s mentality and will fire if the defender's hands are down. You can tell Jones and Bergersen have played a lot of games together because of the great chemistry between them.
